Is Drive Your Way free to play?
Yes. Drive Your Way is free to play in your browser. You can start without paying anything, and everything that matters to progress — vehicles, contracts, drivers — is earned with in-game money.
Do I need to download or install anything?
No. The game runs directly in a modern web browser — there is nothing to install. A desktop browser gives the best experience.
Do I need an account to play?
No account is needed to start — you can play instantly as a guest with the full game available. Creating a free account later keeps your progress across devices, and your guest progress carries over when you sign up.
What do I start with?
Every new player starts with a compact car with a full tank, $500 in cash, and a small welcome bonus of gems. That is enough to run your first light contracts and start growing.
What is the goal of the game?
To build a logistics business. You take delivery contracts, earn money, buy and upgrade vehicles, hire drivers, and optimize your routes to grow from a one-car operation into a company running a whole fleet.
Is the map real?
Yes. Drive Your Way is played on a real-world map with actual streets and true distances. Your company is based in a real city served by a global map provider, and letting players choose their starting city is on the roadmap.
What vehicles are in the game?
The Showroom's current lineup includes the compact car, sedan, small van, medium van, light truck, heavy tractor truck, refrigerated van, and tanker truck — each with its own payload, cargo volume, fuel tank, consumption, and running costs. What kinds of cargo are there?
Cargo comes in six categories — solid, perishable, fragile, refrigerated, liquid, and special. Some need specific vehicles: liquids require a tanker truck and refrigerated goods need a refrigerated van. Details are in the cargo guide.
What is cargo integrity?
Every load has a condition meter that starts at 100%. Rough routes, accidents, and worn vehicles can damage the cargo along the way, and the condition at handover decides your payout: 90% or better pays in full, lower tiers pay less, and below 50% the delivery fails. How do contracts work?
A contract is a delivery job. You accept it, move the goods to the destination, and get paid on handover. Payouts scale with distance and cargo type, and more complex multi-stop jobs pay a premium. What happens if I run out of fuel?
You will not be stranded forever. The Emergency Assistance menu can dispatch a mobile refuel truck to your location — at a premium price per litre plus a dispatch fee — or tow the vehicle to the nearest gas station for a flat fee. Planning fuel stops in advance is always cheaper.
What happens if my vehicle breaks down?
Vehicles wear down with distance, and accidents damage them further. A vehicle whose condition reaches zero is immobilized and has to be towed. Repairs happen at garages on the map and take some real time; you can wait, watch a short optional ad, or spend gems to skip the timer.
How does hiring drivers work?
Drivers run deliveries for you in parallel. Contract drivers take a single job for a share of the payout; hourly drivers join your staff once you open your own company and keep almost all of the revenue for a simple hourly wage. What is opening a company?
It is the mid-game milestone. After 20 completed missions you can pay a one-time incorporation fee to open your own company, which unlocks hourly staff drivers and full fleet management. It is the moment the game shifts from driving jobs yourself to running an operation.
What are money and gems?
Money is the soft currency you earn by completing contracts and spend on vehicles, fuel, repairs, and drivers. Gems are a premium currency used only for cosmetic vehicle liveries and convenience time-skips — never for competitive advantage.
Is the game pay-to-win?
No. Drive Your Way is designed to be strictly no pay-to-win. Purchases are limited to cosmetic and convenience items and never grant earning power or better contracts. Meaningful progress is earned by playing.
Can I see other players?
Yes — other players driving in your area appear live on the map, up to a small group at a time. They cannot interfere with your deliveries or your business: what you see is presence, not competition for your cargo.
Are there leaderboards or PvP?
Not currently. Drive Your Way is about building your own operation, not racing other players. If competitive features ever arrive, they will be designed around the same fair-play rules as the rest of the game.
Are there ads in the game?
The game offers optional rewarded ads — for example, you can watch a short ad to skip a repair wait instead of spending gems. They are always opt-in. The website may also display standard banner advertising to keep the game free.
What devices and browsers are supported?
Drive Your Way runs in modern web browsers and is best experienced on a desktop or laptop, where you have the screen space to manage your fleet and read the map comfortably.
Is my progress saved?
If you play as a guest, your progress is kept with your browser session; creating a free account stores it properly so you can continue anywhere. Upgrading from guest to account keeps everything you have built.
Can I get a refund for a purchase?
Purchases deliver digital goods immediately, so they are generally non-refundable once delivered, except where the law says otherwise. The details, including how to submit a request, are in our Refund Policy.
Will there be more features and updates?
Yes. Drive Your Way is in active development and ships updates frequently — often several times a week. The devlog is the best place to follow what is changing, and the roadmap shows what is live, in development, and planned.
